Is the Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation Legit?

The Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation (MCHF) is a non-profit charitable organization with a mission to promote the conservation and appreciation of Missouri's natural resources, including fish, forests, and wildlife. Established in 1997, the Foundation works to protect habitat in the region between eastern Mexico and Panama, where 95% of Missouri's breeding bird species spend the winter. MCHF has partnered with several chapters of Audubon Missouri, the Missouri Department of Conservation, the American Bird Conservancy and the U. S.

Fish and Wildlife Service to fund hunting and fishing events for children, women and people with disabilities, including disabled veterans. The Foundation also provides monetary support to fund outdoor recreational activities for youth, veterans and the disabled, as well as endangered species of extinction and clean water.

ComoGives Campaign

- Last year, MCHF raised funds for supplies for the Boone County Nature School through its ComoGives campaign. Additionally, a trust fund has been created to restore, preserve and improve stream systems in Missouri.

The sponsors of these projects are supported by Bass Pro Shops, the Missouri Department of Conservation, Ducks Unlimited, the Missouri Conservation Federation, MCHF and private citizens.

Free 3-Day Camps

- Each of the eight Missouri Department of Conservation regions will be able to offer a free 3-day camp for girls ages 9 to 11 to participate during the summer.
